Bunnies out this morning

I put a whole whack of bunnies out on the lawn today.

Good to give them exercise.  

Biscuit and her kits are out. 

Slip is out with all the young girls (it is SO nice to have an older doe who is so accepting of young does)  

Minx is out.

and is Sera.

The remaining kits from Peek are out.

as are all the young boys.

Nice to have bunnies outside.

Slip kindles - Feb 18

I bred Slip to a rescue mini rex buck I had in.
A booted chocolate that I called Marco...

He's apparently called AMR's Rogue now and is up for sale here. :)

Anyways, on Feb 18, Slip gave me six bouncing kits.  I"m pleased by that number.    Slip is my oldest rabbit and a pet so sometimes I'm concerned about breeding her as she's had nine frequently in the past, which is a bit hard on her.   BUT six is a nice sized litter which she can handle well.


Most of the litter is dark, two are light.

Three Temporary Residents

Peter: a mixed breed meat mutt.   My guess is New Zealand crossed with something as that's a fairly common mix.  he's a big enough boy.. 8 lbs.

Marco - booted Chocolate Mini rex Buck.  Awaiting a pedigree on this lad.

Kayvin - Flemish Giant buck.   This lad is apparently about 8 months old and is proven.   I'm hopefully going to use him with Biscuit.      I don't have a picture of him yet.
